She don't need any nomination in order to get open work permit. She will be given work permit same as you as she is your dependent. In order to verify this information please fill in the eligibility questionare she will be eligible for open work permit

Thanks for your reply. May I ask if you are skilled? Because I was nominated thru low skilled pilot project. Is my wife still eligible to apply for owp? I read that spouse of provincial nominee can apply irrespective of skill level. But I dont know someone who had a visa thru this...

Hi!

So, spouses of pnp nominees can get owp? No matter the NOC code and skill?

Did you apply online or at the border?

My husband is semi-skilled. I am in Canada on a temporary resident visa as a visitor. We re going on a vacation in August and will be returning in September. He could have his nomination by then, so we are thinking of applying for my OWP when we come back, at the border in Vancouver.

Thanks!
What do you recommend?

Yes, you can apply for his owp. You'll need to show proof of the marriage.

Thank you. As i have told that under Noc C i am not eligible. So just wondering how true is that ?

Thank you for your response. So my nomination is expired now. Do i have to renew it before applying for my spouse work permit ?
