Sorry to disturb, has anyone received the interview letter from Vancouver office recently? If yes, would you please share your timeline? Thanks!

Hello Everyone,

Our journey is a bit complicated because we didn't hired any lawyers/agents etc.
The documents bounced back and fourth multiple times. We were super stressed and depressed.
I am Canadian Citizen, my common in law partner is Hong Kong international student.
We applied In-Land Application. (VANCOUVER,BC)

We applied from Feb 2018 and finally got accepted July 13,2018
Start processing application on August 15,2018
Received acknowledging receipt on August 16,2018
Ask for medical instructions on October 24, 2018. (Two weeks later, Medical results received)
We started processing application on February 21, 2019
Received an email about an appointment to finalized PR application on March 1, 2019

-------
Right now, we are still a bit confused if my common in law partner application has got approved?
How long do we need to wait?
Do we need any interview?

Lastly, I would like to thank this forum and everyone that helped us to provide an excellent platform.

Hi if I’m not mistaken that letter you received is your landing appointment or Confirmation of Permanent Residence congrats! Did you received DM both sides? It has “decision completed” on your letter?

AOR=acknowledge of receiving your application, the starting point of your application journey
OWP=open work permit
PCC=police check, non-criminal check
BGC=background check
MR=medical exam request
AIP=Approve in principle, eligible to apply for PR
SA=sponsor approval, eligible to be a sponsor
DM=decision made
ECAS=online client application system: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas

These should be sufficient!

We received by E-mail. Some reason we cannot link the application to GCKey account.
The below is what we received.

We used the PR Status Online to check.
Doesn't tell you much! But it said "Decision Made"

-------

This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.

We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office in Vancouver Immigration will contact you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application.

IMPORTANT: You and your family members, if any, will be required to present original identification document(s) to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office at your appointment. A final decision concerning the granting of permanent residence status will be made at that time. If permanent residence is granted, the name that will appear on the confirmation of permanent resident document is your name as it appears on your passport or identity documents.

Oh WOW! We're so happy right now!
This is a long battle for us. Because we didn't know what to do from the beginning.
Got all the help and information in this forum.

Also, I just received this email today.

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class you submitted to this office on behalf of XXXXXXXX and family (if applicable).

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence (APR) for your relative will be processed separately and he/she will be contacted shortly.

If you received this communication via email, please note that another copy will not be mailed to you.
