I'm in Kingston, so I'm assuming mine will be processed by the Ottawa office. I got my IP February 12th.

Inlaw app received Dec 5, 2018. No AOR yet. Not sure why.

Any Dec app with returned package? Will they tell you specific reasons so you can reapply right away?

It feels like December is the slowest month for applications

It has certainly slowed down relative to previous months... I am comparing application times for October and November 2018 since they are closest to us, that would be the best reference point. We are looking at AORs taking 2 months and IP taking 2 weeks after AOR. For December it does seem like we are getting delayed for no apparent reason. Even January 2019 applicants are getting their AORs now.

Always check email box properly including junkfolders. Many times people find AOR after weeks sitting in theirs emails.

This is an update.
Friend of mine just received his AOR (some hours ago). Interesting thing is the document was dated Feb.12 but sent today.
His ECAS says 'In process' now.
