Hi All,

My parents got a police certificate request letter 23 August and sent it on September 10th. We haven't heard of anything back since then. The website still shows as "your action is required". I phoned them once and they said that they have Police certificate in the file. I am getting nervous as I thought that the passport request will come soon. has anybody have same issue?

Medical Request: June 07, 2018
Additional Document Request: July 23, 2018, sent August 20, 2018
Police Certificate Request: August 23,2018, sent September 10, 2018

Hi,
IRCC gives 60 days from invitation to submit documents. For Quebec residents, they have to apply to MIDI before, which takes 25 business days to provide acceptance letter.

Does anyone have any idea if the 60 days of IRCC start as from MIDI acceptance date?
Or you can send both application at the same time?
Or you wait for MIDI acceptance and then send to IRCC within 60 days?

Order GCMS notes. It is in security check probably. Given there is time discrimination against certain countries you may have to wait few months for security check to pass before passport is asked.

Congrats. I am on the same boat with you. Hopefully I will receive it soon also. My parents are also here from Pakistan and staying on a super visa since last 2 years they visit pakistan every 6 to 8 months or so.

I Received email and Letter was in MY CIC account.
But CIC status not updated Yet.

View subittmed documents in My CIC and submit there. Alternatively, you can submit using web form to London. Both methods work.
