After reading this I went in to check what our said in the GCKEY. So we received an letter of request for documents for my husbands 21 year old son. He won't participate and we've already told them that. However when I look in the GCKEY they have the request for documents listed under my husbands name. So I am thinking the only way to get the "your action is required" removed is to resubmit my husbands documents because it is under his name. Under his sons name there are no documents requested. Obviously someone made a mistake, but I don't want to ignore what the GCKEY says. Thoughts?
It never hurts for CIC to have another copy of the same documents. I resent my dad's via the GCKey because the 'your action is required' made it look like i still had work to do on my part. Even though they had received the documents and updated it under the 'additional documents'.

I spoke with an IRCC agent yesterday regarding my father's file status since I do not have ECAS access.

His BGC started on Dec 28 and the same day we got a request for his RCMP Certificate and PCC with deadline of submission Jan 27.

His RCMP Certificate was received on Jan 25 & PCC on Jan 28 by CPC Mississauga. The agent said the actual background just started getting processed this week even though GCKey status changed on Dec 28. She said it's the longest part of the process (I'm sure we've all come to the same conclusion).

She also said keep a close eye on the account for updates but didn't elaborate on this. I wonder what that means?

Wow Congrats @Mark Ng! That's great news! Do you mind sharing the email with us, copy and paste without the personal details? Thanks

PS: I think you are the first ones I've seen who received an email from IRCC about PA passing eligibility.

Is it normal that we dont receive message or update if they are starting to process the eligibility as it says on gckey that they will sent messages once they start it right?
