Hi @Linda_s74

I've seen some of us already getting updates in their accounts but I still have nothing after meds passed and work permit last November. I think we gonna hear from them soon. :)

Yes
I was wondering if those applicants that have children together would be processed any faster... There're alwasy those odds one that got processed way faster than the others.

Thoughts?

I saw your post and checked mine but no update yet.
But! I checked my status through ECAS.
Guess what? There is an update back on February 19th!!!

On-Line Services
Permanent Residence
  1. We received YOUR WIFE'S application for permanent residence on August 31, 2018.
  2. We started processing YOUR WIFE'S application on February 19, 2019.
  3. We sent YOUR WIFE'S medical instructions on November 14, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
  4. Medical results have been received.
I wonder how much longer I have to wait for the result now. :)
You're so lucky, congrats!! My husband's application was received on August 22 and we're still waiting!

You're still waiting for your application to read "processing" on the applicant's side on ECAS (same as AOR2)? I think most of August has had that update and we're all within a few days of each other. I would double-check, or maybe try checking with CIC if there is an issue?

That's the status using your GCKEY. Twilight_forever (the post you responded to) was listing their ECAS status. You can find it by logging in here: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do and then clicking on the permanent resident application status. You'll probably find that they started processing your application towards the end of February, similar to most other August apps!

Thanks so much for the info, I really appreciate it! :) We had signed up via this link a few months ago but I hadn't checked it in awhile. And you were right, they started reviewing the application on Feb. 28th. Positive "baby steps"!

I really hope so! Something seemed off to me when none of us got background check started (even until now) whereas May, July, September, Oct... etc applicants had that change right after their med request
