Nov 3rd AOR, FSW-O, recrived update on 6th December for BGV consent form l, after that there is no update....on immigration tracker website people who have AOR dates in August and September are receiving the PPRs from February. When will we get some update ?
Are you FSW-O applying from US? If so your application might be in the Montreal office, unfortunately, which means add at least anothher 2-3 months over the regular processing times.

It seems to me that the processing times have gone up in general. The PPRs have stopped coming in quickly from all the offices. It is not just Montreal (even though it is the king of slowness) but even other offices seem to have slowed down significantly.

Also after April CIC will start receiving student visa applications too. That might add more processing time (since student visas need to be completed quickly). So, i think it is important for us all to re-align expectations.

How can we know about the Visa office where our application is being processed? How to apply for GCMS notes and how long does it take to receive the GCMS notes? Does raising a GCMS notes delay the application processing further?

Here AOR 16th Nov
Medical Passed: 2nd Jan
IP1: 2nd Jan
You AOR is 8 days after my AOR date but somehow you case seems to be ahead of me. lol
AOR 22nd NoV
MEP 2nd Jan
IP1 2nd Jan
No update since.

Latest updates show applicants getting PPR mails directly after IP1. So better to wait. Maybe after 15th March NoV Aors will get positive updates. Good Luck and stay calm!!

PR card is not needed to apply for SIN. COPR is fine. It can be done same as landing if you land in business hours of service Canada

Again PR card is not mandatory, you can use COPR. But SIN is mandatory.

From what I have heard landlords will ask for an offer letter if you have a job or else people show that they have funds. Some people offer more rent in advance but legally landlords can't demand more than 2 months rent.

I think at a minimum COPR and SIN would be needed

Most popular website is indeed.ca. Consultants depend on your field

That is fairly open question. You need to be a little bit more specific.

Thanks Cansha!

Enjoy your remaining days in your country, mate! There is sufficient time to do all these once you get your PPR and waiting for COPR.

A valid passport + SIN (which you can get in a single day I think) is sufficient for almost all of these things.
Thanks :)

You can find out office by either ordering gcms notes or by calling cic.

You can search the forum on how to order gcms notes. Gcms notes arrive electronically and they take about 30-35 days to get to you. They wont cause any delay

I think there's a need to re-align expectations. It seems like average processing times have crept up in general. Maybe it's time to think of May as the month of PPR rain for November people.

As per the trend it’s 5 months right now earlier it was 3 months..anyways we should be patient till 6 months timeline..and most importantly be positive:)
