Hi! I'm new to the forum. Our outland application was received on Jan 9th, 2019 at Nova Scotia. No AORs or ECAS status yet.

On the same boat.
Application received on Jan 10, 2019. No update yet, can not see anything in ECAS. Keep us posted.

When you guys say checking your ECAS do you mean trying to link your account??

There are two tools:
Ecas https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/sessionexpired.do?app=&lang=en
you can get an overview of your application for both Sponsor and PR

GCkey account (which you can link if you do not use representative)

I got biometrics email request today through CIC account. I have my email on spouse's cic account so I get all the communication.

Hi, When did you receive your sponsorship approval? Thanks. My application received on Jan 3, 2019 and AOR1 in on Feb 25, 2019. My spouse application has been processed as "non-accompanying member" during my PR application process. Does it increase the speed of process?

I haven’t received sponsorship approval yet. They sent biometric, i guess sponsorship is approved but they haven’t updated it yet. Will check tomorrow again. I am checking ecas with my uci and her uci and her cic account daily 3-4 times. No idea about non accompanying member.

Use the payment receipt no. And sponsor family namd and Dob

Thanks one question though .....I have filled the fees properly but is there IMM 5401 also needed to be filled ? beecause in ecas with Receipt Number it is mentioned as IMM 5401
