Hi Guys,

I have a question . Please help.

I have two bank accounts one is a saving account in which I have enough money for proof of funds. But in the other account I have a home loan which I recently took.

Should I show both the accounts or the account with just the funds.

I have converted my savings to FD and have a statement for over an year which shows I have these funds for most of the time with me.

Please tell what to do

Thanks in advance.

I’ve been poking around on a crowdsourced tracking website and the current trend seems to be around 6 weeks. Of course, they probably don’t have all EE applications on there, but this timeline is consistent for the ones they have.
I got AOR on 15th Jan , no MEP yet, i agree that it is now taking longer than it did last year

I ended up getting my PCC from the indian consulate in toronto.

When i reviewed the document it states :
mr/ mrs (my name) son/daughter/wife of (my dads name) holder of indian / canadian passport no. 12344

Is this correct ?

Shouldnt they have crossed out the options to say

Mr. Adpr son of (dads name) holder of indian passport no 12344.

Can some one please help me i am freaking out.

I received my AOR on Feb 8. If I understand correctly, it's only at stage IP2 when background check changes to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.". But for me, it shows this message already. Medical exam isn't passed yet. Can anyone guess why it could be so, or am I misunderstanding something?
For me also this is the case, right after submission, my background check status is: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

I don't read too much in to it, as this happened even before anyone has any time to even look at the files, medicals yet to be cleared. It is just one of those random things that they are now doing. I have seen many others also have the same BG status right after submission.

Some one has shared a link to a topic that discusses this phenomenon:

If you have an AOR of 31 Dec 2018 or later, follow the chart below to track your progress. Candidates will remain in a state of 'False IP2' throughout their application and only see a series of 'ghost updates' following their MEP; the first such ghost update (which should follow shortly after MEP) will signify your Real IP1, the second ghost update will signify your Real IP2, and the third will be your ‘Final’ Ghost Update, following which you are likely to receive your PPR.
Source: Application Stages + What They Mean (MEP, IP1, IP2, Ghost Update...) - Version 2019

The link has been revoked, @legalfalcon. Can you provide a working link?

Hello everyone.
AOR JAN
I’ve made a silly mistake of not mentioning my spouses Masters degree in the personal history .
What should I do.
(In state of panic)
You can file a CIC case from here: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx?AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1
I had to do it recently for a mistake I did as well (forgot the affidavit of secondary's application translations) and they replied acknowledging the receive of the documents.

Hi All,

I got an ITA on 10 January 2019 and Submitted my documents on 25th Feb 2019. AOR Date: 26th Feb 2019. I and my wife are currently in Canada as a Student and we have applied under FSW program.

I have a question in my mind, our study permits are getting expired on June 30 and can we apply for bridging work permit or not? Or we need to be on a work permit in order to apply for bridging work permit? Please assist.
