Bro, you will get it.. just relax and enjoy your remaining days in your home country.. you were so fury and raging at Ontario and Canada regularly for not getting invite when you were at 435.. now that you have gone past all these, you should keep calm and party.. :)
Just heard that Ontario sent notification last month lol!!

I get ITA and then they start sending notifications :p

And you're right, it will eventually come

Question for seniors in the group. I am confused (rather heartbroken to some extent) as to why IRCC did not conduct any draws this month. CRS score 438 since 31/1 and bound to loose 5 points late march. Was hoping for close draw(s) in feb. Coming back to the point ,

1. what could be the reason of back to back draws in Jan. Were they held to counter OINP's invites ?
2. What would folks who got OINP as well as ITA do, decline OINP ?
3. If majority decline OINP, will Ontario send out invites to folks with score around 438 and more ?

TIA.

The Back to back draws were suppose to happen at some point since it was a while we never had them. And now that we had them, they're making it up through this long gap.

IRCC is pretty unpredictable when it comes to these draws.

OINP will keep sending invites until they meet their quotas.

Well, the last back to back draw was in December, Dec 12th and December 19th. And as far as OINP if you look at the numbers, the total number of HCP's invited in 2018 almost equals the HCPs invited in Jan 2019.

I already talked about the December back to back draws in one of the earlier threads.

Since EE began, there were no draws conducted after December 20 which is usually when the holiday period begins and there has always been atleast 2 draws every month. So they can't just have 1 draw in December, hence, the 2 back to back draws.

I believe this long gap since last draw could be because of the huge backlogs. They're trying to clear them before moving ahead

HCP stream criteria has changed compared to last year, previously they had a minimum score of 400 to qualify, now they send invites based on their province needs. Also, there were no HCP invites after Feb last year, if I am right. So they could go the same route now, you never know. It is difficult to understand how they're approaching this.

All pray for a draw today. Hopefully more invitations to keep the score down
Praying for either a b2b draw OR an increase of number of invitations to compensate for two draws this February.

And yes the month of cut off is predictable. Keep in mind the last cut off date and the score. If the draw at 440 with a tiebreaker it’s impossible to go beyond the previous cut off date. Making it very likely someone can predict it
This is incorrect. There are possible scenarios where someone with CRS 440 and profile creation date before the last cut off date can still exist in the pool.

1) CRS 440 applicant - profile created between March 2018 and Jan 2019 with CRS less than 438 and improved CRS to 440 after Jan 31st.
2) CRS 440 applicant - profile created between Dec 19 and Jan 31 with CRS 440 and got ITA on Jan 31st, declined ITA in Feb.

Same scenario applies for all scores above 438.

Please note applicants declining ITAs and applicants improving their CRS scores are the main reasons apart from new applicants entering the pool for cut offs staying in the 440+ range even though there are draws every few weeks.

So, in short, it is very tough to predict the tie-breaker date/month.
