Hi
I have different ideas in my mind, that is why asking your opinion about different conditions.
If I would apply for visitor status 1 month before my work permit expires (I think it is OK to do that) I will be in implied status until decision is made. If until decision is made I leave country and decide to wait for my PR in my country what would happen? I mean if the decision is positive and I am in my country is it OK just to ignore this or what to do in that case?
Thanks

Implied status will be lost as soon as you leave Canada. I'm not sure that it's even relevant to your situation/question.

OK. In general, can I apply for visitor status 1 month before my work permit expires. If yes, how big is the chance to get it?

Yes u can! But if u want to stay in Canada for longer, apply for the extension of WP. This will grant u implied status. Once your application for extension is refused then apply for visitors status. U would still have 90 days to restore after refusal of your WP application

Thanks, very good idea. But if I will not be able to apply for WP extension (most likely), the only option will be visitor status application. After work permit, Visitor status application what is done in time (let us say 1 month before WP expiration date) do they always give 90 days in case of refusal?
