Hi everyone,

I applied for temporary visit but it was refused based on 2 reasons.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your immigration status.

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I am student in Buffalo, NY with F1 visa (student visa) since 2015. I have a sponsor. My American visa expiration date is April 2020. The second reason is easy to understand. But my question is about the first reason ( immigration status)

Anyone has this issue? I need your opinion.

You only have temporary status in the US which means you can't really demonstrate strong ties to your home country to show your visit to Canada is only temporary and you have no plans on remaining in Canada long term.

Thank you very much. Is it mean I can't do anything about it?
I mean how can I fix this?

What evidence did you provide to show that you are in school and show your ties to the US?
