where is the original PCC submitted? What address ? The letter received for medical and pcc from CIC does not mention any address.
The following is the PCC request I received from SG LVO. They requested me to "upload" documents to MyCIC account. Does the letter you received mention anything about MyCIC/GCKey?? They usually include instructions as to how you can provide the requested documents. If they really miss it and did not provide any direction on how you can provide the requested documents, you can always email or call CIC for clarification.

----------------------------------- -------------------------------- -------------------------
We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/documents:

 > Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate

Please note that the requested information/documents must be received within 30 days from the date of this correspondence. Please upload these documents to your MyCIC account.

Yulia,

I got a letter from regional medical office to get additional medical tests for my father on Feb 10, 2019. You could add this info under "Notes" column. I saw a few people that had that info in SS. That helps me guess how long it will take to get it done.

Thanks!

You might want to ask CIC directly how to address this particular problem. I know for a fact that your case is not the first one they have encountered with mismatch or spelling errors on birth certificates/documents. What I would do in your situation is to get an affidavit and LOE (Letter of explanation) to explain the discrepancies in those documents.

CIC is acutely aware of regional and geographical problems. Some people don't even have birth certificates or marriage certificates to provide. So, it's a matter of as truthful as you can be and provide as much evidence as possible to clear any doubt CIC may have.

the thing is in my case, so far GCkey seems lag behind, compared to ECAS. Ecas shows DM but GCKey shows still reviewing my eligibility.
I know which part you are talking about. They do not change the "checklist" on GCKey and that's the standard for most people. Mine is the same and all of those checklist items including "eligibility review" remain the same although they have already made decisions on SA and processing my parents' PR. But, they send several correspondences using GCKey and all of those are listed there.

The following is the message I found on my ECAS after they sent IME and PCC request. ECAS will only states when they sent the PCC and IME requests. The most important information especially for IME is the form CIC sent you. ECAS does not have that form, your GCKey does as that's where they will send the files to. I would not worry about status updates on ECAS, as the main status is the email you get from CIC with decision in it. Whether ECAS displays that decision or not, that decision you get in the mail/email/GCKey is final.

Typically speaking, GCKey is more important after you get sponsorship approval, as your LVO will communicate with you via GCKey/MYCIC account. Decision letter such as pre-arrival letter, which is usually sent after they've made decision on medical, will be sent to your GCKey in your case.

ECAS text from my files.....
"We sent AAAAAAA correspondence on January 25, 2019. If AAAAAAA has not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please have AAAAAAA do so as soon as possible. Please wait until AAAAAAA receives the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required."

But, GCKey checklist items "eligibility review, biometrics etc.." remains unchanged (i.e they do not update checklist items in GCKey).

therefore, i got a question:

I submitted the Use of Representative after I linked the file to my mom's GCKey account, and I only have the access to my mom's account, but not mine since I forgot the password and security answer. Will the update be reflected to my mom's GCKEy account?

Hi there - Boy this thread is long lol....Is there another thread for people that have actually applied for 2018? We received an invitation to apply for my MIL in July! (I thought we had not been selected and then got that in JULY!) We sent application by the deadline September as we had to gather some documents - we meet the income requirements no problem, last we heard was in December which was a letter stating that Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2018.

Just wondering of there is somewhere to share timelines and see where everyone else who applied is at!

Thanks!
