Would someone kindly let me know if a criminal record check request at this stage is normal for CEC inland? I've lived here since I was 16 y/o (now 24), went back to home country a couple times (3 mos max), and I have never been anywhere else.

Hi @USProgrammer, I got the ghost update just 1 day after MEP and Biometrics Collection Letter. Does that count as an signal of "real IP2"? I am in IP2 since AOR and paid RPRF upfront.
That’s IP1.

Thanks a lot @USProgrammer .

Today my timeline bar shows 17 weeks.
Yesterday it was 18 weeks.
The day before yesterday it was 4 months.
I just don't know how long it will be tomorrow. :)
It’s just counting down to the 6 months after AOR; nothing else.

It’ll be stable now. They switch from months to weeks and it involves rounding. It should change once a week now.

Well, that's good news on the whole. The fact that your application won't get shuffled between various local visa offices is a big deal in terms of processing time!

Let's hope you are right
And that the True North will call
Sooner than later

Have you submitted yours? I thought I wouldn't need this as there was no option to submit one back when I submitted the application. Ran to RCMP today and they said the processing time is up to 2 weeks :(
If you submitted yours, mind sharing the next step please? Ty!!!
