We have not come across a similar case. Generally, single entry TRVs are issued with a validity of 6 months (although we have seen shorter validity TRVs issued last year).
A TRV of 5 years validity would normally allow for multiple-entries. Also, TRVs are issued max. until the passport validity, and not for a block 5-10 years
