So If I read in past that NDVO does NOT touch a file for 3 months; that was TRUE and GOD forbid this year coming true :(

Just putting it out here for the perspective of others.

I sent my passport on Jan 28th. Processing started on Jan 30th. As of Jan 4th, they have shipped my decision envelope.

My timeline is:
Application received: May 25th 2018
SA and Medical: 10th July 2018
File transfer to NDVO: 3rd August 2018
AOR2: 21st August 2018
DM: 11th January 2019
PPR: 17th January 2019

Thank you and touchwood. Even for that matter, my BGC did take like 5 months and I wasn't sure it would come by March itself.
And I was a silent observer of this platform since last few months. I did observe something that you mentioned regarding the file transfers and BGC.

Most of the applications after June got file transfers during December, January which is after people from previous months got their DM and PPR. I thought they used to do the chronological assessment of the files which is monthly. But somehow this point seems to fit now.

Thank you.
And No. I believe my BGC started on 21st august (which is AOR2), whereas my file transfer happened on 3rd august.
Okay thanks
Just to know Aor2 is just acknowledgement that says we started processing your app on this date? And did you get any email or this line just showed up on Ecas and that is called Aor2?
Because ours on Ecas show started processing on 9th jan ..but no email nothing yet and bgc also not started

I hope so that is what it means. And no we didn’t receive any email. It’s just a line on the ECAS.
