On 25 September, 2018, I applied online for a 96-Hour transit visa of United Arab Emirates (UAE), when I planned to travel from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan via Abu Dhabi airport. I had not bought a ticket at that time as it was not requirement of the application. At the time of submission, my application was complete in all respects. I received a message from UAE visa portal which requested me to upload my itinerary. I saw the message the next day. I searched for a ticket but unfortunately, I got a ticket with layover of just 5 hours at Abu Dhabi airport. Tickets with longer layovers were expensive and such a short layover was not enough to let me visit the city of Abu Dhabi. So I did not upload my itinerary to the portal. After 1 month, I received another message from the visa portal, stating my application for a 96-Hour transit visa had been rejected.

Should I mention this in my application for permanent residency?

Yes you should.

Of course. Absolutely!
