My file was forwarded to SGVO in the beginning of January. On ecas 2nd line it says: we started processing your application. And on Gckey it says: background check is processing and they are also reviewing my additional documents. Medical has been passed.
It’s been couples of weeks. Do I have to worry about anything? Like an interview? Is there a chance?

This is very normal. Usually this takes about 2-3 months without hearing anything. Don't panic, just be patient : )

My Question is are they gonna ask for an interview? Since they have already started my background checking? Is there a chance?

So means wait for ppr ?? This is the meaning of it ??

If yes that will come from NDVO ??

Because I don’t know file ever came to Ndvo or no it went to Mississauga I am sure delhi I don’t know !!

This issue is already discussed above. Do not worry may relax. Soon U will see changes if VO is not back logged with cases

We are in the same situation, not too far away. I am sure you will hear something byMARif not FEB

By feb or march you mean bgc will start or DM? I am afraid it might take total 12 months which is normal timeline but not like most cases which get Dm in 6-10 months

Neha no one can predict 100%. even agents say we dont know how they work. My guess is as soon as BGC starts it takes not more than a month

My only stress is i want to go to india for long period 5 months and if we dont hear anything by march then i am afraid i will have to stay here

U cant assume that we shall hear something from them 4 sure, however I liked the idea of going since I have also decided to go late MAR and stay 3 months with her. Thus MAR+APR+MAY by then we shall be 10 months since application date

Yeah 10 months is good , your wife should get ppr by then but ours will only be 7 months in march and i am planning to go in mid april
So keeping my fingers crossed

I came here in 2014 Auguest 21 as student, studied, applied as pnp-pr , took forever, got job in a bank as analyst, applied for Express entry in sep 2017, got PR in December 2017 , married june 2018, wifey got dm today... The only sad part is i came back last Sunday from India and she will have to travel alone..:::( But Thank you god......

i got decision made a week ago no PPR yet... wait till she get PPR then go again .
