Question - Inland Sponsorship Work Permit/TRP Extension

Hello,

I am having to resubmit my work permit and TRP extension applications because the clock on my current TRP will expire 03/20/2019. Technically, I should receive feedback on my Permanent Residence application prior to this date, as my sponsorship application was received 03/01/2018. However, I don't want to leave anything up to chance, as I wish to maintain legal residence in Canada.

My question is - when submitting my new IMM 5710e document for the work permit, do I also need to include a copy of the IMM5708e (and all relevant files) to extend my temporary residency? Does anyone have any pointers on how long I should be requesting these documents for? One or two years?

Also, if I have been living in Canada with legal TRP status for 1.5 years, do I need to pull new FBI checks?

Hopefully I made this clear enough to understand the situation, please let me know if you have any advice.

if you earlier submitted inland sponsorship + OWP.....and the OWP was approved....you should have implied status

Sorry I should have clarified the OWP application that I originally sent has been either lost or re-shuffled due to some back and forth. So no guarantee that I will get a decision on that by March 20, 2019

if your sponsorship application was received 03/01/2018.....and assuming its processed within 12 months....it should get a final decision around Mar 2019.....OWP is usually approved within 4 months.
