I need some advice on the below.


My husband’s consultant mailed my application in August 2018 by Canada Post. The mail application was delivered on 22 August 2018. We have applied in Sydney, Nova Scotia.


Until now, we have received neither any AOR nor medical, no emails and no letters.


Is anyone facing similar issue?

do you check the mailbox regularly ( of the email address that you provided while applying ), check other boxes such as spam etc

if you got a mail that says your application is received , that is AOR (acknowledgment of receipt)

I applied for my husband's sponsorship on 30 Aug, 2018.
Yesterday on ECAS the status has been updated as 'Decision Made' for PA. However, I have not received any email from IRCC or cannot see decision made on GCKEY.

How long does it take for them to send the email? Does this 'Decision made' mean my husband's PPR will come soon?

decision made means that decision regarding sponsor has been made that he/she is eligible for sponsoring. my husband applied for my sponsorship in august and my file was received on 27th august. i had my medical done on 11th January and my file has been transferred to LONDON visa office for further processing. that was their last email to me. waiting for ppr now.

Thanks @zainabejaz . The decision made for sponsor was received in December itself. The current decision made is for the Principal Applicant - my husband.

Nope, they just updated status on ECAS n GCKey

They did not notify where the file is! Mostly it is in Canada.
