Question for you. I applied on behalf of my husband on July 3rd. His file has been in progress for months and since medical done no news. Should I use the web form to send a message or will that annoy the VO office? Thank you.

Hi I actually did not link at all. I keep checking online and through the phone system. I received an AOR but still could not link it so I did not bother with it

I'm the PA from Colombia. I'm in Colombia right now so is my husband who came to spend Christmas with me but will go back to Canada in April. We were hoping we could go together but Im afraid it wont be possible

You or your husband can call CIC and ask what’s going on. I know it’s very hard to wait but this system is not predictable. Definitely calling them is the first thing to do.

yes, the problem is that we are both in Colombia, and calling CIC through skype doesn't work as it has to be within the country. Now we either ask his father to call for us or wait until he gets back to Canada or continue waiting till July comes ( which is horrible!) We'll see what happens

Ask your father in law to call if he can. The waiting is a killer. I’m waiting also almost 7 months and my husband is over seas

Most of July are in same boat. Myself Indian submitted on July 3rd. Mine is transferred to New Delhi since then no update. You should try to know Ankara visa office is currently processing for which month. suppose If Ankara visa office processing currently April/May then yours is not far.

I’m also thinking to send a web form but at the same time don’t want to annoy the VO. It’s been over 3 months since my husband did medical and now news. BGC did not start

ah ok. Mine also states that the background check has not started. I has been 1 month since medical passed.
