Passport number

Hey all
I have a small problem please that I figured out and I am panicking about, my reference letter issued from my employer last week mentions the passport number that got cancelled in August 2018 (company reference letters mention passport no. Of the employees in their letters) , this passport was valid until 2019 but I got a new one to have a fresh passport before applying to EE. So now i am worried that cic will ask "why is his new passport number not mentioned and its his old passport number that is mentioned" maybe they will conclude that I left before august 2018 which is not true

IRCC officers are human being too, they do understand our problems and mistakes. Besides having passport number in reference letter is not a criteria. Some how in one of my travel history I wrote "self wedding" as my travel purpose. I found out it after three months and was really worried, but it had no impact in my application.

Stop overthinking here. It is not an issue.
