That's the detail message I see on notes.

I completely get that, I've 9 months of Canada experience in last 3 years, however, while creating the profile I was asked whether I've less than 1 year or more than 1 year in last 3 years, I've chosen the appropriate option at the time of creating the profile.

So let me get this right. You have 3+ Foreign work experience. In Canada, you have 9 months of experience (over the three year period) at the time of submitting the application?

So in other words, you qualify for FSW, not CEC?

Why does the note say that you are claiming 3 years of Canadian work experience then?

Let me put it in this way:

I was in Canada from 2013-04 to 2016-04 and 2016-05 - Till date I'm in USA.

Coming back to Profile, as per Case Analyst, the 3 year period starts from 2015-08, since I submitted my profile 2018-08. In other words, in the last 3 years I've only 9 Months Canada experience.

Having said that, at the time of creating the profile (2018-02), I've more than 1 year Canada experience in last 3 years, thus, I've chosen this option. Hope, it makes sense now.

Hi everyone so I logged in like 5 min ago on my cic account and I noticed that the status of my application changed from Application submitted to application/profile updated no email no notifications nothing the application has been on status submitted since Aor 14 aug (biometric country)... how come ? I haven't received anything did this happen to any of you here ? Thank you in advance

had a phone call this morning to CIC; the agent told me that there is two parts in the BG checking of my file; 2nd part has passed and 1st parts not start, not really sure what that means? what these parts stand for? and she did not give much information about; so i did further asking about eligibility, and she told me that it is review required, but she could not tell me what has been review required or do i need to provide some additional information. i also checked the criminality and security and she said,she can not see the status for these two . and she told me, my file is in Sydney NS. could someone give me some advise, what situation i am at? is my case in a really worrying situation? i am so frustrated; as i noticed some people have review required on their case, get longer process time and some situation i don't even want to say it out. below is my timeline:

Call center agents may not be able to see all that is happening with your application. You need to order Gcms notes asap. This will give you the true status of your application, and let you know if there is any action you need to take.

But why haven't they contacted you already if there's missing stuff? I mean, shouldn't they start sending messages asking for the missing documents?

yes, thats the part i dont understand either, if they need something more from me they should ask, do they, so so so confused about the logic

i used an agent for my case but they and ask the agent they told me even the notes dose do anything useful and they said this is just slow procedure and just wait until Feb... so not sure should trust them or not, so frustrating

What is the additional doc? If it affects your eligibility (POF, work experience, etc) then it may take time to review.. but you are already in IP2 so it is near PPR. It is just a matter of time. Your file is also at sydney which is slow as some say here.

They asked me to contact VFS in India or Nepal for stamping while I am in US ( California) at present. Please suggest how to proceed further.

If you are in California, they would ask you to send it to ottawa, unless you are in california as a non resident in other words if are just visiting united states as a tourist or something. What was your country of residence when you applied at AOR ?

Yeaah that’s what I asked her as well but her landlord is away for one month. So, incase I don’t manage to get hold of the rental contract, will the documents I specified suffice? I don’t want to risk anything now

Nope its a bad idea. always give them what they ask for.
I am sure that they might have appointed a assistant landlord to cover, There is no way that they are gonna leave the building without a landlord.

Hi friends!

l have a dilemma: AOR 19th September. Two applicants: me and my girlfriend (common-law).

Mid october: Biometrics and ADR (2 PCC for Singapore - we both live there although not citizens)
Start November: all submitted

12th Jan: RPRF request and again PCC for Singapore for my girlfriend only (it was already submitted) (gave 30 days)
14th Jan: uploaded old PCC from 23rd October for her (along with RPRF)

The situation would not bother me much but the status still says "We need additional documents..." - and already 10 days passed after submission which is uncommon. I raised technical glitch and mailed to Ottawa - nothing. Checked application - all submitted no pockets left to upload.

What yous suggest to do? I already think just to reapply for a new PCC for her to have peace of mind. But also cannot get IRCC logic - if you ask again for PCC why only for her? Or may be with this they want to check that we live the same address (common-law proof) - PCC specifies current address as well.

I would appreciate any thoughts!
