Just finished exams in Calgary. Supposed to be 20 but decided to change one answer that was actually wrong. Anyway the interview was short and we were informed to expect the oath taking in 2-3 months.

We were asked to have our FP on Dec 20, 2018 . We did it the same day. I have called the IRCC many times, every time I called them I get the same answer. It hasn’t been reflected on my file yet. I sent them the RCMP confirmation email that they completed and sent the report by web form and also by regular mail. Now I am just waiting.

Just wondering any way to accelerate oath ceremony once pass test. It looks like that the average time is 3-4 months in Calgary once completed test and interview. Any help/suggestion in this regard would be highly appreciated

Unfortunately, no way I have asked them after DM to accelerate the oath in order to be able to go to a family weeding in the US but my request was rejected, I am in Calgary too

Hi, the sheet has been updated. Thank you for the information. Test invites seem to vary person to person and varies between CIC offices. For example; I note that for the Vancouver office there are May and June applicants who have only had the test invite this week (and it seems that others are still waiting), yet some July applicants had a test invite mid December.

Supposedly the nearest IRCC office to your place. I live in Sarnia and nearest IRCC office is London. I checked with IRCC as well and my application is in process with London office.

Is getting email for Citizenship exam only way to check date or it will display on CIC application status?
I am still waiting to Exam date.

exam date - Jan 18, 2019 - test passed
Decision made in ecas - Jan 24. (may have been earlier but I just checked!!)
