when u applied and when u got loa?
Applied on Nov 14 and got offer letter on 24 Nov. Loa is something you get after you accept the offer letter. I have until 3rd March to accept the offer. I have applied for Sheridan as well and am waiting for that.

Both are roughly the same. In Sheridan I am able to see the course contents, the lecturers, the details of what is the marking structure. In my program, I have seen the reviews of all the professors and they are generally favorable. Sheridan also passed a upass scheme which means I can travel within Brampton, Missasagua and Oakville public transport for a very nominal fee per term which reduces my transport expense. That negates the fact that the College Residence is in the Brampton Campus while my program is in the Missasagua Campus. Also compared to Humber the residence is cheaper as I don't have to pay for a meal plan and they allow me to stay over the winter break. The course is more towards digital marketing but that can be balanced with some online courses. Also, the co-op program is counted as a semester which makes it a 3-semester course. They also have graphic design courses which Humber doesn't but you could take online classes for that.

In Humber, I am not able to verify the course details like Sheridan but the course is more towards traditional marketing but with some sales into it. While they don't have a upass scheme the student residence is located in the same campus my program is. It is physically located closer to the downtown area. The course is about 3000 CAD cheaper than Sheridan. Also, Humber has a good hospitality program which means it could be possible for me to leverage that since I am looking for a marketing co-op with a Hotel or Chain restaurant since I have prior experience with hospitality. They also have a tie-up with Linkedin learning which means I can do online courses for free which will reflect in my Linkedin page and I can use to boost my resume. The only sticking point is that the program is mentioned as 2 semesters in the offer, although the work placement is mandatory and it's not tied up to having a certain GPA to get it which is a plus.

Honestly, it's more or less equal, they both have advantages and disadvantages. While Sheridan is mostly known for being creative focused I don't think that's such a bad thing considering marketing requires being a bit creative. Humber does have a more reputation I believe in business. It's going to be hard to choose honestly. Although that will only happen if I get the Sheridan offer. I will wait till about mid-February and if I don't get the Sheridan offer then I'll accept the Humber offer. It should be more than enough time to get finances in order and start all the processes. Even if I am ready for applying for the visa in April it should be enough time so that I am confident everything will be set by July. Mostly I am not in a hurry to accept anything and I've got time.

All their campuses are reasonably big so there's not much difference. Only thing is that only Missasagua campus doesn't not have residence while others have it. Only amongst some Canadian people, the Brampton campus has got some negative news and reputation with regards to International students. Otherwise, it's all OK. You should always compare the courses in your program rather than the particular campus in question. The campus can be taken into consideration but don't make it your priority.

I have applied in humber on 27th november18 for sept19. Still no response from them, and waiting for the offer.
Which program are you applying for. Some programs are very competitive. It's better to have one or two backup colleges in case your primary does not go through.

Hi,
Is it normal to receive an email with a Additional Requirements Not Met / outstanding conditions error message? and also in myhumber I have Additional Requirements Not Met message but I have submitted additional requirements to the slideroom which my course requires.

I think this is a an error until an advisor reviews it.
