Hi there any applicants from Nicaragua here that care to share their timeline? I have seen that this VO is very slow :(

I'm a Canadian citizen sponsoring my Nicaraguan spouse. We are planning to send the police certificate with our application but I believe they are valid here in Nicaragua for 3.or.6 months. I've read that for immigration purposes they consider them valid for 1 year. Should we send it now or will they just ask us to get an updated one anyways?

Per the checklist it should be sent with the application

What process does VO do, bgc? what about sydney whats there job, to ensure all the documents are complete to send them to VO and start the process.

By the way just as a helpful guide for future applicants that require PCC from Mexico you have two options to get it as I just went through the process myself:
1) Go through Canadian High Commission in Mexico - they take between 30-60 days after they receive your complete documents.
2) Get a friend/family to do it on your behalf.

As I didn't have any friend or family in Mexico I searched like crazy for agents that can do it for me but I faced lots of issues as most of the websites are in Spanish. And when I found some(through Google Translate) most of them didn't bother responding even after repeated attempts. Anyways I was lucky to have found Carlos from "http://www.gestoriadeoriente.com/". I know he would never visit this forum probably but he was the most helpful person I have met....I had the certificate in my hand on 7th day...Such quick and transparent service...I am impressed...

Hello,

We applied February 8th and our application was sent to Mexico end of April...

We received AOR2 October 31st along with the request for updated Schedule A and new police certificate.

Since then we have heard nothing......

I have read a lot of people that say that they have contacted their local MP office to find out the status...

What is this?

We also ordered our notes and they also arrived October 31st... and nothing really exciting on there.
Have you heard anyt

wait for what? you can order notes at any time during the processing
Hi, did u receive the invitation to pre-arrival services before getting the DM/PPR?
