Me and my family are currently living in Saudi Arabia and I wish for my kids to study in Canada. I have a son and a daughter 8 and 10 respectively, is there a way for them to go over to study in Canada along with their mother who will probably not be working. I have read several websites and articles of the needed documentation such as passport, proof of finance, medical records, invitation letter of a Canadian institute and please mention something i may have missed out. Finally, is there a way for them to get a PR my wife or kids after they have entered the country?

Your children can study in Canada provided you are prepared to pay international student fees and they are successful obtaining study permits. They must apply for and successfully obtain the study permits before coming to Canada. To be approved for study permits, you will need to find schools that will accept them as students, demonstrate that you are able to cover tuition (approximately $15K for each child per year) and also living expenses. You will also need to find a guardian in Canada (i.e. someone already living in Canada) who they will live with and will take care of them while they attend school here. There is no means by which their mother can accompany them and live or work in Canada. The most she could do is try to apply for a visitor visa (TRV) to visit them for short periods of time. However she won't be able to live with them here while they attend school - which is why you need to find a guardian who will take care of them in Canada.
Coming to Canada as students does not give you family a path to PR. If you wish to apply for PR, you will have to qualify through one of the economic immigration streams like Express Entry.
So if i can get a sponsor for wife to work as well as study permits for my kids, my wife can then apply for PR after a set amount of time?
She can do that if she qualifies and meets all of the PR program requirements. Simply working in Canada doesn't guarantee PR. There are many other requirements that have to be met and a number of Canada's immigration programs are points-based (meaning only those with the most points are selected). You'll need to dedicate time to researching Canada's immigration programs to understand what it takes to qualify.
Note that it's generally extremely difficult to secure a work permit as a foreign worker. Before your wife can apply for a work permit, the employer must obtain an approved LMIA. This is a long (4-6 month) process that requires the employer to advertise the job for at least a month to prove no Canadian could be found for the role. It's typically very very difficult to find employers willing to go through this process because it takes so long, costs so much money and there's no guarantee of approval. Having said that, some are successful - so you can certainly try.

You'll need to apply to immigrate through an economic immigration program like Express Entry. If you are selected and your application successfully processed, your family can then move to Canada as permanent residents.
There's no temporary visa that allows your wife and your children to move to Canada.
