Hi, I am an PR applicant while my application status is decision made.

The thing I forgot to declare common law relationship, I've been live with my gf for 1year and3-4 months.
It's my fault forgetting this important update, but after realizing it I want to update it asap.

I wonder how it will affect my the applcation, and about how long will it delay?

Any other docs except police checks should I prepare in advance?

Thank you

Contact the visa office and let them know about becoming common-law. If they give you a COPR, DO NOT LAND using that. Wait for a new COPR to be issued AFTER they process all checks for your common-law spouse. Not sure about processing times but she will also need to go through medical exam.

If you decide not to update your file, you can never sponsor her, ever. Not even if you and her get married eventually. Best of luck!

Thank you for your reply.
I decide to add her and inform cic, just afraid of the processing time since my work permit expires by the end of.july.

However, we dont have co-banks, co-bills, the lease we signed together has not been one year, because we moved and the former one doesnt have her name.

We have same address for our individual bill but we do enough photos, interact bank transacations, is that enough to prove?
