Hi Team , I'm 37 and a lineman on the powerlines, my girlfriend is Canadian and wants me to go to csnada with her the the end of 2019. Can I get some type of work Visa or something. I'm from New Zealand and we are currently here.

Probably the only realistic option is for you and your girlfriend either to get married or live together for a year to become common law. Once you meet one of these requirements, she can sponsor you for PR. If she sponsors you for PR from within Canada (you must both be in Canada in order to do this), she can include an open work permit with the application to sponsor you. That open work permit will be approved around four months after the complete application package is received.
