Hi Guys,

Quite new here.
My first attempt was on Dec-15, L8.5 R8 W 6.5 S 6.5
And I was very disappointed with the result and filed EOR on Jan-11-2019. Still waiting on that.

Second attempt. I think I messed up with listening section. And the speaking examiner was talking with strong accent, I lost hope again.

Hope I can get my score upgraded.

I've been following this thread for a week now and I have had high hopes for my remarking basing from your success stories.
I sat my computerised IELTS exam on Dec 8th at BC Manila.
My results were released Dec 21st
LRWS 7.5 7.5 6 7
BC Manila was closed for holidays Dec 23rd til Jan 3rd, so I did file for a remarking on Jan 4th.
I'm still waiting for the EOR results and fingers and toes crossed at the moment.
I feel very nervous so please help me pray for a positive result. I just need a 0.5 increase in writing

There are people who get good marks in 1st attempt and there are people who don't get good marks even in 21 attempts.

It is a test, may not be perfect, but it does the job. I got 9 9 8.5 7. LRSW. I'm happy with my score, it was my first attempt. I still applied for EoR.

Nothing horrifying or terrifying about this exam, it is an exam like any other.

Wow!!!! congrats 1 band increment! I also wrote the Dec 1 exam in Abuja Nigeria. I applied for EOR on the 17th of December I have not received any update. Fingers crossed.

The proceedure is simple.. Just visit BC with your TRF and tell them you want to apply for EOR. They will ask you to fill a form and pay 600 SAR.
That's it.. the results will be out in 8-12 weeks time. You will get a refund and a new TRF If the scores have changed.

I applied for remarking with BC before and got 0.5 increase in writing which was required. The recent EOR with IDP was positive as well, but increased in speaking only although i applied for writing as well.

Wow. Your result is amazing. I got a 7 in my writing. I'm waiting for the EoR result. It's been a month since my application already.
