Hi everyone,
While I was doing was my masters I was working 20 hours per week (Totaling to 1188 hours) under NOC 2281 from April 2015-May 2016 and got a full time under a different NOC (2171) from Aug 2016 till Now. I got the invitation but now after reading a lot of forums, I am skeptical to include my part-time work in the express entry profile.

I got the offer letters and pay stubs for all. When I remove my part time job, the score drops from 475 -450.

Should I remove my part-time job since it didn't reach the 1560 hour mark? or Can I add since I am working in another job for more than 2 years?

I have only 10 days to submit my application. Please advise.

Were you a full time student while doing your masters? if so, those hours won't count so I'd suggest you don't include them.
In any case:
If even when removing the part time job from the application you still satisfy the requirements of express entry and the minimum score for your invitation round, you should be ok, just mention it in your personal history section and no need to include it in the employment section.

Yes, I was a full time student and it was a graduate assistant position.

Does your points get impacted because of this work experience? If not, just skip it.

Only 3 years of your total work experience contributes to your CRS score which gets you actual invite.. and 6 years contributes to your FSW eligibility of 67 points.. if you become eligible (meet 67 fsw points) even after excluding that experience, you are free to leave it.

If I remove my Part-time experience the score is 450, and if I include it is 475. The minimum score for that invitation round was 445.

Please remove it as you can get invite without that.

Now, if you are removing this experience after ITA, you should include an explanation saying that you are removing that work experience and you would still stay above your cut off.

Part-time work as a graduate assistant in the US counts toward experience. The NOC code for graduate assistants is 4012. There are numerous posts on this here, please use the search tool.
