hello to all:
I need your advice. I have submitted my WP application on September 27 and still in process by the Abu Dhabi Visa office and until now no results yet. Now, my employer just call me that they cannot wait for me anymore because of the long period and they will hire other employee. What will I do? can anybody has the same situation? appreciate your comments.

Are you guys referring to AOR, the acknowledgment of receipt? Or PPR, the golden email? AOR is supposed to arrive within a few days of submission of application. I got mine same day I hit submit. I'm confused.3 months?!
I readed that someone has received AOR within one month.
I really don't want to wait too long!!
Are you applying under Family Class? It sounds like you're applying under some other scheme (EE?). Outland family class is done only through the mail -- there is no online submission -- and the AOR takes 2-3 months at this point.
