What is the next step?

I submitted my husband sponsorship application on September 7th, 2018 and I received an email from immigration on December 12 asking for additional document which I sent to them the same day.
I got another email from them today which is the AOR letter but I want to know what happens next? It says they haven’t checked my eligibility and they are in the process of my background check. I am the sponsor loving in Canada and my husband lives outside of Canada.

If you haven't yet, they will send you request for medical. The entire process takes around 12 months. Be patient
