Tourist or Visiting family and friends?

Hello, I am a Canadian citizen and my friends family from India want to visit Canada for few weeks to visit places. They visited several countries before and have decent travel history and good bank balance and assets.
I want to help them applying and wanted to know if it's better to apply as "Visiting family and friends" or "Tourism". There might be a document request to prove proof of relation ship which I am not sure what to provide for friends. Also I want to know which type has a better approval rate?

Visiting friends and family.

You would need to provide an invitation letter + copy of your passport + (only if you wish: your NOA, bank statements, etc0

Approval rate does not depend on your documents, but on the documents/evidence that your family and friends submit to prove their personal financial situation, their ties to India, their purpose of visit, previous travel history, etc
