Study permit extension financial proof

Hi, I am confused about the financial proof requirements. I have around 20k cad in my canadian bank right now but I am going to pay my tuition fee at the end of december with that. Can i use this as financial proof or do I need the money to be present during the whole application process. Thanks

There were previous discussions here before about SP extension wherein the international students only showed CAD$2,000 to 3,000 only and got their extensions approved. Unfortunately, i did not bookmark those discussions. But you can still search them and ask directly from those students who have actual experience in SP extension application.
