Child Care benefits

I have 2 children and we landed in September as PRs. We have since settled down and i was told my children qualify for CCB. Initially i thought we will have to spend a year and file our taxes before we can qualify but it seems my children qualified the day the became PRs.
I have just sent the application yesterday. For those who are familiar with the process, what should we expect? How long does it take to be processed?

Seems to depend if CRA is happy with your proof of previous years income.

You have to provide proof of your income for the previous 1-2 years in order for them to determine the level of benefit. Some keep being asked for more documentation. Search the forum.

Agree with canuck78. And it's income from anywhere, not only Canadian income.
