Hi,

Did you have to use WES or ICAS for assessement or its fine to just scan and upload your education documents?
No need for WES or ICAS. Just scan and send. I don't know where this information is coming from but everyone is asking.

Only for Canadian citizens who have studied out of Canada need to get and for people applying for PR need to get.

For international students WES or ICAS is not required.

Thanks for your reply :

If you go to this website:
https://humber.ca/admissions/apply/english-proficiency.html? and scroll to the bottom you can read about

"Applicants who have attended institutions outside of Canada are required to have credentials assessed prior to admissions evaluation. Humber recommends ICAS Canada for programs that require course-by-course assessments, and ICAS Canada or World Education Services (WES) for programs that require credential level evaluation only. Credential evaluation fees will apply."

This gets confusing however if you look here:

https://international.humber.ca/study-at-humber/application-process.html and look at step 2 it states:

"We require scanned copies of original certified secondary school graduation transcripts for diploma and degree programs, and any college or university transcripts for postgraduate programs and degree programs. All documents must be accompanied by a notarized, official translation into English (where applicable)." so its hard to figure out what is the truth lol.

I have another question since your course costs $16,531.00 did you have to add the non-mandatory fees to that ammount

on this page:

https://humber.ca/admissions/fees/tuition-expenses.html

Total Fee Allocation (per two semesters) = $919.56

Total $16,531.00 + 919.56?

This is for Canadian students who have studied abroad. It is mentioned in better detail in the program admission requirements

International Credit Evaluation
Canadian citizens or permanent residents with international education are required to provide a WES or ICAS evaluation.

As for the total fees, the fees mentioned in the program page is all-inclusive. The page https://humber.ca/admissions/fees/tuition-expenses.html shows the break up of the page.

I have already got the offer letter in my hand which is why I am telling you that it is not required to get a WES or ICAS evaluation. Regarding fees I have not paid since I am waiting on another college so I cannot confirm but the 16, 531 figure should be accurate.

Also, it is Mandatory Non-tuition fees. This means that it is not part of the tuition but it is mandatory for you to pay for it. There is no such thing as non-mandatory fees.

I agree, I got the LOA and visa without WES or ICAS evaluation.

Thanks for your help, and congratulations!

I must have made a typo about the non-mandatory fees, and I see now on the tuition breakdown for the course semester that Mandatory Non-Tuition is listed, I thought we would still have to add Mandatory Non-Tuition fees seperatly to our tuition in this case but it seems its already included in our tuition :)

No, it is just an explanation of where the fees are going that's all.

If you haven't got a offer letter then that is what will be shown. I have got an offer letter and in status it says final offer and in confirmation due it says 3rd March 2019 which is the last date to confirm offer.
