Hello Friends,

Finally today I received the AOR in my email. So happy.
However, in the AOR letter they mention about Important information about using a Representative, the IMM 5476 form. My parents have filled all the forms on their own and have NOT used a Representative. That is why they have not filled the IMM 5476 form with the package.
Is this the standard letter that they send to everyone? Is it mandatory to fill the that form? Please suggest.
I recommend you to be Rep for your parents and get all current info about processing
you can load that form thru IRCC webform

you can't unless you are their representative.....

you can submit it via WebForm
Thanks. I checked the IRCC Webform website. It says:
You may use this form if:
You wish to add, change or cancel a representative and you are ready to upload your Use of Representative Form (IMM5476) or you authorize IRCC to release information from your case file and you are ready to upload your Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual (IMM5475).
which on should I upload? IMM5476 or IMM5475

Hi @YULIA-2016

Sorry, I am asking this on the wrong forum but are you also maintaining any Citizenship Application Tracker?

I am planning to apply for my citizenship and is looking for the right tracker that's timely maintained by the owner.

Please let me know if you are maintaining or aware of such tracker.

Best Regards

Can someone tell me what is the different to bankruptcy to consilidation debt?
What if you in process of consolidation debt can affect to your sponsor approval? Thanks .
You might want to approach your bank on that topic. That said, this is how I differentiate between the two. Bankruptcy means you can no longer pay that debt. Consolidated debt, on the other hand, is literally what it sounds like - consolidating/combining different forms of debt (credit card, lines of credit, mortgage etc.) into single portfolio, so you only pay one amount for all the debt. You are not forfeiting that debt, but paying it in different way.

What are your concerns with PGP in the context of consolidated debt? I can understand bankruptcy, as it will probably make you ineligible for PGP sponsorship. Consolidated debt should not make you ineligible for PGP.

My co signer was in process of consolidation of his debt! Only his credit cards .. but his mortgage and truck was not included there! Do you think its affect that to my sponsor approval?

Members,

Just a bit of confusion. After receiving the AOR, do we still wait for CIC to tell us if we qualify as per our previous 3 years income and paperwork submitted? or did they accepted the file after assessing the info and provided us the AOR? what are the next steps for Parents sponsorship after AOR received?

please advise

You'll get e-mail when they review your docs and confirm that you meet all requirements as a sponsor. AOR is just a confirmation that they have your docs and will be reviewing them

Hi - I have applied earlier in the year to sponsor my parents, sent my application in May and received AOR end of July. No other communication was received. I have since been checking ECAS from time to time and saw status go from application received to In Process. Then last week I noticed the sponsorship application went back to application received while the permanent residence application stayed at In Process. Then I checked today again and now both say application received. Feels like a step backward, no? Has anyone seen this happen before? Not sure what's going on....

Appreciate your thoughts
Does anyone know?

Hello again, my parents got medical and PCC request. In the PCP section this was mentioned "Provide an original police clearance from India". Can someone let me know how this can be done, there is a place to upload documents, but no other mention of where to send originally copies.
@YULIA-2016 could you please guide me to any info on this, if possible
Thanks in advance
