hi all, i just checked with the panel physician north york office about the submission of my medical exam. she said that since my medical was on dec 1st. they dont count sat&sunday as business days so this becomes my 6th day. so i should expect my results to be updated by friday this week.

I did mine on novembre 29 and it’s still showing action required. I don’t not know how long does it take to pass.
My BG is still not applicable
this is your 7th day for processing wait till thursday or call the physicians office on friday.

Just checked my cic account and says that I passed my medical exam.

Review of medical results - You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents - We do not need additional documents.
Interview - You do not need an interview.
Biometrics - We do not need your fingerprints.
Background check - Not applicable.
Final decision - Your application is in progress.

What would be the next step? How long should it take for them to make their final decision?

Hello,
I submitted my application in January 2018 for Inland sponsorship through the Family Class. After 10 months, I received confirmation from my lawyer that I was accepted federally and that I then had to apply for CSQ. Just today, we received notice that my CSQ was accepted as well( took about a month) and we are now awaiting further information as to when it will be complete.

If everything goes smoothly, background check will be conducted next which will take another 4 to 6 months, followed by SA (Sponsor Approval), DM (Decision Made) and AIP (Approved in Principle). After that, it will take another month or two to get a landing interview and CoPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residency - the final stage of the application). The total average comes up to 8 to 11 months. So the most of us, the September applicants, will be seeing the end of it by May to August next year.

Hello,
I am usually a silent participant in this forum, but I might as well share my timeline.
I applied from Victoria BC and I am a Mexican National. I had a PGWP that recently expired.

Application sent: September 04
Application received: September 07
AOR: October 01
MEDICAL: December 03 - There is only one panel physician on the island so I am waiting for my appointment on the December 21st.
POLICE CERTIFICATE: December 05 - I sent all the documents to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City on December 11, 2018
OWP: Patiently waiting...

Thanks for sharing your experiences, reading them makes me feel I'm not alone.
UN ABRAZO A TODOS Y SUERTE!!

Completed medical exam yesterday at Dwyer Immigration Medical in Vancouver. They were very quick and helpful and even gave me a chocolate because it was my birthday! Just in case anyone is looking for somewhere to get it done.

Now patiently waiting OWP approval. Seems odd that a couple of applicants got theirs and then it went quiet

Congrats!
Yes, it's been quiet... I think they try to keep the average timeline for all. I believe no one could get the OWP before 90 days of receipt... so maybe they will approve today or next days for those 11/09 applicants...
Also, I can see on the list of applicants, there is no one between 6th and 11th September. I know some of the 6th and 5th didn't get theirs yet.. anyways! It's been very hard to wait for these last days!

Hey guys, good morning!
I was wondering which day does it shows as 'Date received' when you open yours OWP application on cic website? Cause mine shows as September 12, 2018, when I actually sent my application around September 17, and they received September 19, 2018, as it shows on permanent residency application. And I saw I am not the only one that it happened. Which day should I consider?
going crazy hereeee

Same thing happened to me. My OWP date received is a week before it was actually delivered to the office by mail. They got my PR app with OWP app on September 13, but it shows as received on September 6 on the website.

Another strange thing for me is that under "Application type" it says "Online Application" even though it was delivered by mail. Does it show that for you too?

Hey guys,
My background check started today but my medical exam is still showing action required. I called the doctor and he said my medical results were sent to CIC last Friday December 7th.
