It seems LVO is speeding up fast to clear the files!

Received email Re COPR and now waiting for this in the post.
As I’m in Canada already there’s an option to activate the “landing” in a local CIC office, so have emailed to request this. So excited and hope it’s now not long to finally able to plan for the next adventure.

Congratulations!! Spreadsheet updated. I think it is you local IIRC office in Canada that you need to contact once you have your CoPR, not LVO.

Thanks so much! My partner and I just sent our common law application on Thursday! Courier to Nova Scotia. Just trying to get the hang of this forum as I think it will keep me sane through all the waiting. Thanks for your help

No problem! This forum helped answer soooo many of my questions. Very helpful.. I think right now, it's about a month wait or so after you send in your application before you will hear something, somewhere around there normal processing time for sponsorship applications is 12 months. I've seen done faster and some done longer. Good luck!

My file is in LVO for background check, the status has not updated still stays we will inform you once we start background check its been like 5 months. I have recently sent the inquiry to LVO and they asked for additional information I have uploaded all the documents but they required orignal marriage certificate but in the request letter the mail address is not mentioned in the footer of the document there is address Canada House , Trafalgar Square should i mail to that address my original document?

Yes. But please send courier so you get the tracking number.
