What i can take with me and what should i declare

Hi all,
I am going soon to Toronto for studying and i am thinking about taking my desktop parts with me and buy a moniter there. should i declare the desktop parts as goods on the declaration card?

also i have a friend there as well and asked me to take some clothes and shoes to her, can i take the clothes and shoes with no problem? they are all used i assume! and should i declare this as well?

Bringing goods to Canada
When you move to Canada from another country, you may bring your personal and household goods with you without paying duty. You’ll have to pay duty on any item you bring that hasn’t been used.

Anything used is fine when you are arriving in Canada for the first time. Do note that for example if you go back to your home country and then someone gives you a gift or you bring back used items you will be asked questions about it. It's better to get an invoice for used items and depending on the particular item you will have to pay duty for gifts. If you have something expensive bring it with you when you first arrive.

Remember to properly protect your PC parts as luggage is not really handled with care even if you have a fragile sticker. Get some bubble wrap and wrap around. Use the original box if possible.
