I'm June 2 still waiting. Did you get any ghost update in myCIC account recently?

Start Processing 5 September 2017
Medical Called 26 June 2018
Medical Received 2 July 2018
CIC says medical processing time 3 months
Haven't received anything yet
Is someone in same situation ?

Submitted medicals in April still haven't received anything. Called CIC Automated phone system and it said Background check in Progress.

I've heard that calling CIC to know the status of your file actually slows down your application processing further. is it true?

Yea, average process time is 16 months. My application received date is Jul 24th and only until last week did I get PPR. I am still waiting for COPR to come... Gonna be a while, but if you are lucky you will get it much sooner
