Hello need urgent advise. Can we reschedule medicals? My partner has an exam schedule next week but she just caught this infection. Can we call the medical office to reschedule the appinemt. Should i mention about infection?

An applicant may be refused on health grounds – if their condition:

  • is likely to be a danger to public health or public safety, or
  • might reasonably be expected to cause excessive demand on health or social services
You should be okay as your infection does not reside in any of the above stated category.

Woww. Alhamdullillah. My health is fine. But I don't wanna take any chances or delay the process. Is It possible if I can go week after? Just to be on the safe side?

Sure. Write an explanation letter to IRCC and they will give you extension (which would delay the process too, but it's upto you)

Oh I thought reschedule is only with local Imo office. I think I should just go for it. In sha Allah I will do good. Pray for me plz. Thx

You have to make sure that the results have been submitted within 30 days of medical letter. If IOM can reschedule within that 30 days of time frame (depending on their schedule), sure go ahead. If you get a date past that 30 days of deadline, write a letter to IRCC requesting extension. Otherwise just go for the medical. It's up to you!

I'll still have about 15 days after the original appointment date. So I still have alot of time

Hello all,
Can someone advise if it is possible to update the application with IELTS results after submitting spousal application? Is it also possible to share additional joint travel history after submitting the application?
