I was just checking Immtracker and noticed that there was not even a single July CEC applicant who got PPR in whole November month (at least based on data in Immtracker). What the hell is going on with CEC applicants! o_O
And it has been a week with no PPR for any CECs!

Yeah, no love for inland applicants when there should be a priority for CEC. We have lived in Canada for more than 3 years and been through all sorts of checks while applying for study/coop/work permit. It is unacceptable, but waiting is all we can do.

I am thinking of the same.
Its been long 8 months I have seen my family back home.

@INTamir is correct. I have also started searching forums for this question.
What I have learned is once you do the landing with PR Visa and get the COPR signed, officer may "VOID" the existing TRV in system. So, it may cause trouble when your passport is scanned at airport while returning and cause trouble boarding the flight.

There are following options for Inland candidates:
Get the passport stamped with PR Visa and you will receive the blank COPR

1. Visit the home country and Do the landing while returning at Toronto Airport and get the signed COPR, wait for PR card.
2. Visit the home country and return Canada on existing Work Permit / valid TRV Visa. Do the landing by crossing the border Or scheduling an interview at any of the CIC office. wait for PR card

Let me know if any advice / suggestion

@INTamir @Chandar 91

Got a very useful and authenticate information about validity of TRV.
Read the post from IRCC

TRV is only cancelled when you go through the process of landing as a PR.
So, you may follow any of the below options for landing. Option 2 is also valid since you will enter Canada with a valid TRV
This way you can avoid applying PRTD

1. Visit the home country and Do the landing while returning at Toronto or any international Airport (Except Quebec) and get the COPR signed, wait for PR card.
2. Visit the home country and return Canada on existing Work Permit and valid TRV Visa. Do the landing by crossing the border Or scheduling an interview at any of the CIC office. wait for PR card
