Question, how was the OWP received July 12th, when the application was sent July 18th? I ask because after linking to the CIC it says OWP received July 11th when we only sent the PR+OWP application July 17th! So wondering if its an internal error on their end or if there's a logical explanation I'm missing.

It is an Internal Error on their end. There is no Logical Explanation for this. We can assume a lot of things. But there is no reasoning for it.

Same for us. Medical request received for PR but OWP still nothing.

Just an update! OWP is approved. Applied 16th July 2018 but in a separate application in Vegreville, Alberta.

Timeline is in signature!
Don't fret guys.... it's coming!

I got my medical request as well. How much that will cost?

Got mine at 225cad at rosemont with dr rene morel googled him up

Process takes 10-12 months. Thats the best we can tell you as every case is different. After medical is background check and it is the longest part of the process (takes on average 4-6 months).

Thank you so much for your response. now at least i have an approximate time frame. I am applying my OWP this week as it is expiring soon. Besides, the sponsorship process may take couple more months. Appreciate your response.

Us. My husband’s still waiting for any updates in his OWP but already completed MR yesterday for PR. My husband’s 6mos will be up by end of November so we don’t know whether to apply for extension or what. Ugh

We got the same timeline! Our app was also received on July 17th. Hope the OWP approval comes in soon....

Hello Everyone,
We submitted our application for sponsorship (1 spouse and 3 childs) on July 24 - 2018.
In August 15 aprox we received an email with confirmation of the CiC started to process the application. BUT we saw that 1 of our child wasn't appear No idea why!!! We are very worry about that. We sent everything for each kid.

Last week October 25 we received our letter for Medical Examimation request. BUT again one of our children doesn't figure.
Just want to let you know the stage where we are now in october.
If someone know about Why? One of our applicants doesn't appear in our application please give me an advice, we sent multiple Email to the cic web but nobody respond! And we are already doing the medical exams all the rest of the family but my 8 years old girl can't do it.
