cuz they are stupid.. i provided my job letter, my HR number and most documents. they still rejected on the basis that the officer was not satisfied that I was actually performing the job responsibilities in my job. Even my manager was mad when i told her that they rejected on this basis.. LOL.. she wanted to speak with someone in CIC but i said i have to re apply as they do not provide this option. I mean if they were not satisfied they could have asked for additional documents to outline job responsibilities . it does not make sense.

sorry to hear your negative experience. So have you applied again for PR or you already got it? It must be scary experience for you when they refused your application.
I have re applied again and still waiting for a response .. MAy 25th AOR with no updates whatsoever.. fingers crossed buddy

Ahhh.. That's painful. Sorry to hear that! I hope you get your PR very soon.
BTW, what stage (IP1 or IP2) did you get rejection?

Indicates the last update on my application was back on July 11th.
Eligibility Pass; Criminality Pass, blank in Security. No clear wording on my notes saying I'm under Security Screening.
Security page is blank, except for my UCI and name.
I do not know this means my application has been in the Security check for a long time and very likely to proceed with Security Screening or means my VO might have received some feedback of my Security check, but has not yet reviewed?
I'm quite nervous, Currently, I'm working in a bank, and my manager wants to convert me to a full time (I'm contracted to this team via a consulting company). If I cannot have my PR ready, my Manager will have a hard time to convince HR to convert me as my work permit is expiring in a year. They may not be willing to provide a permanent job.
If I'm selected for SS, my consulting company may also have trouble in finding me a new placement after my current contract expires in April 2019.
Appreciate any comments or ideas.

I was in IP2 .. just trying to stay positive and hoping best for all of us
hang in there.. you have time till April .. if no news from CIC till end of this year.. apply for bridging visa .. assure them that you will surely get PR.. try to submit as many documents as you can and convince them.. good luck
Thanks for your advice. Looks like I need to have my Plan B. Already order notes from CBSA and CSIS. hello guys!! I submitted my application on 1st may but cic send me AOR on 15 may. So i hv to count 6 months from 15 may or from 1st may? I have another question. Is it possibility of rejection after 6 months of submitting application? Wait is killing me and I cnt stop myself thinking negative. After medical passed update, there is no update at all. My notes are supposed to arrive on 10 novemeber. I think some application are strong enough to convince them to issue a PR in 3 months and some like my application may be not strong enough take this much time. I hv so many assumptions this time.

Try and stay positive. Also, a friendly suggestion, you can post your timeline on below thread, to get an approximation of PPR.

Yeah! It's been a really long wait for May-AORs, people with August/Sept-AOR are ahead of us.
and that is not fair.. They should process our applications as we are waiting more than them
