Hello guys, i am a new member here. I am in trouble right now. Thing is that I'm doing my 1 yr long master's in criminology from windsor University. Last summer i took a leave of absence and went to my home country. This is my last semester.Thing is that i called cic and told that i came here september,2017 and continue my study till april then from april to August i took a leave then again i started my last semester from september, they said it's ok, u will get ur PGWP. But yesterday one IRCC officer came to our University and i told the same thing to her. She said you will not get any PGWP i am really very confused what should i do now. Please suggest me something

You have to be studying full-time continuously throughout your program . As you took an unscheduled break you may not qualify now.

You are only allowed scheduled breaks that are part of the program i.e when everyone else goes on break you can go on break. So was this a scheduled break or did you take break while everyone else was still studying?

the University offer only one course in summer...for bachelor they have the provision to provide a break in summer but for master's they don't provide.. but thing is that, my mom and dad both were sick so i applied for leave of absense and they granted that leave

Unfortunately uni granting leave doesn't change the PGWP rules. You can try and explain the situation in your application but its all up to the immigration officer now.
You should probably look at the other immigration options such as express entry since you will have a masters maybe you have enough points already.
