Hi everyone, my sister have plan to get me as her caregiver , Im worried because I have history of PTB last 2004 Ihave completed medication for 6 months, and doctors says that the scars in my lungs are still there,I have yearly xray so the scars are still there. My question is can I pass the medical exam if I applied caregiver? TIA

Yes but you may be required to do a sputum test that takes multiple months to complete. You should also be aware that family members are often denied when they apply as live-in caregivers for family members. The system was abused and was used to sponsor family members who didn't qualify for other immigration programs. The family members rarely worked as caregivers. You also need proof that you have the training required to be a caregiver.
