Hi,

My supervisor from a company where I worked about 10 years ago doesn't have email ID and even now he uses gmail which is not the email he uses for professional purposes.

So, is it be ok if there is no Email ID in the letter but only the address & phone number of the company/supervisor
or
I should have an email Id mentioned in the letter?

I would say keep all your social media sites updated with your work profile. Linkedin, FB etc.
Reading from GCMS notes, agents donot call the employer unless really really required.
They match salary slips, bank statements and sometimes linkedin profiles with your supplied documents.

Moreover if they feel that they need more info they will raise an ADR, they wont reject your application for this.

Another thing: Can I mention the salary in INR or it should be in Canadian $ ?

And do you think mentioning low salary might create any issue (something like 1.4Lacs in 2008) for an engineering position?

Please Advise!

Can I mention the salary in INR or it should be in Canadian $ ? Mention your salary in INR as that is the currency you receive it as. It avoids you having to make assumptions about currency (which fluctuates).

Whatever your salary is: declare it as is because that is the truth.
