Hi to everyone,

My girlfriend was previously a visa student, not citizen nor PR.

She got rejected when entering Canada this march and her visa was revoked (the IO crossed her visa), reason she didn't attend school since april 2017.

The IO seizure her passport and gave her two days to pack up and leave Canada, along with a letter writing ALLOWED TO LEAVE CANADA.

Is this deportation? Will it affect her Vistor Visa afterwards?

Thanks a lot!

She was denied entry because her study permit was no longer valid.

When she applies for a TRV, she would need to prove she has established ties to her home country + finances for the visit + she must not apply for some months

Hi Bryanna,

She got denied because she stayed in Canada as a visa student but not attending any schools.

She been waiting for 6 months, will this be enough?

Thanks a lot!

Has she been able to re-establish ties to her current country of residence? For example, has she enrolled in another study program? If yes, when will the program end? Or has she been able to find employment?

She has sufficient assets in her current country of residence. And shes now tied to a company, letter of employment can be provided.

1. Is her employment permanent?

2. Can she prove she has been earning a salary since the last 6 months?

3. Has she filed any tax returns?

4. Does she manage work that cannot be done by someone else?

1. Not permanent

2. Not 6 months but I think 4 is fine

3. Suppose she had a job then there will be tax paying, will double check

4. I dont think so.

It would be a good idea to wait for a few more months before she applies for a TRV
